Your Steak has been smoked and seared and cooked to a perfect medium rare, then individually cryo-vacuumed and frozen. They just need to be heated. Put on the grill for a couple minutes per side just to heat or pan roast in a touch of butter or oil to sear and then put in a 375F oven for 3-5 minutes. If you grill them, warm the jus that is in the bag for a delicious sauce. If you sautee, use the jus in the bag to add to the pan once the steak is removed to create a delicious pan sauce. Add a splash of Whiskey, Brandy or Red Wine to the pan sauce and let reduce slightly for extra flavor.
DETAILED KITCHEN FILET PREPARATION
Your Filet has been hot smoked to a perfect Medium Rare. To best enjoy the preparation process, open a bottle of red and set your table.
Next, preheat oven to 375F and grab your favorite sauté pan. Open your steak package and set the juice in the bag aside. Next, place your dinner plate in a warm place, such as on your stove top.
Sear filet in your sauté pan with a touch of butter or olive oil for 30 seconds on each side, then place in the oven for 5 minutes.
Pull steak from the oven and place steak on your warm plate to rest. Finish your sauce, add your sides and Bon Appetit!
