Smoked Peppercorn Crusted Filet Mignon (6oz), Veggie du Jour, Mashed Kinnebec Potatoes, Chateau Nomad Bordelaise.

Your Filet has been hot smoked to a perfect Medium Rare. To best enjoy the preparation process, open a bottle of red and set your table.

Next, preheat oven to 375F, grab your favorite sauté pan and bring a pot of water to a simmer. Open your steak package and add the juice to your Bordelaise sauce. Next, place your dinner plate in a warm place, such as on your stove top.

Sear filet in your sauté pan with a touch of butter or olive oil for 30 seconds on each side, then place in the oven for 6 minutes. Next, place your veggie bag in the simmering water to heat. While steak and veggies are heating, microwave your potatoes for 2 minutes. (You may also remove the veggies from the plastic and microwave them on a plate instead of 5 minutes in a pot of simmering water).

Pull steak from the oven and place steak on your warm plate to rest. Remove your veggie bag from the water and potatoes from microwave. Pour your Chateau Nomad Bordelaise (that has the jus from the filet bag) in your sauté pan to make merry with the tasty filet bits and heat. Open and pour your veggies (including the sauce cryo-vaced with it) on your plate and add the potatoes. Pour the sauce on the steak and potatoes and Bon Appetite!
