DIY French 75 Cocktail Kit
The drink dates to World War I, and an early form was created in 1915 at the New York Bar in Paris—later Harry's New York Bar—by barman Harry MacElone. The combination was said to have such a kick that it felt like being shelled with the powerful French 75mm Gun.
1.5 oz Inverroche Verdant Gin, 3/4 oz Lemon Juice, 1/2 oz Ginger Syrup, Secret Chapillion Cava.
Mix gin, lemon juice and ginger syrup into Cocktail Shaker. Add ice and shake until very cold. Strain contents into a champagne glass. Fill to the top with Cava. Garnish with Lemon Peel.
Makes 10 Cocktails.
